Crime Stoppers is seeking information pertaining to the identity of an unknown person or persons who forcibly entered storage units in the northeastern corner of Steuben County as a result of the entry’s several items were stolen.  The items that were stolen from the units are construction tools and equipment.  These thefts occurred in the later part of April 2016. The thefts occurred during the daytime and early morning hours.

Armed Robbery 2/07/16

Crime Stoppers and the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office are seeking information to assist with the solving of an armed robbery.  On Sunday February 7, 2016 at approximately 12:48 AM the Steuben County Sheriff‘s Office responded to the Shell Spee-D-Mart located on CR 200 W north of I-69 in Steuben County reference an armed robbery. The suspect entered the store, displayed a firearm, and demanded money from the store employee. The suspect then fled the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.  The suspect was last seen on foot southbound from the store.  The suspect was described as a white male, approximately 5’6” to 5’9” tall, with a slim build. The suspect was wearing a ski mask with only two holes cut out for the eyes, a black zip up sweatshirt, dark colored pants, and light colored gloves.
